News: Passeios Ria Formosa & Chimera Visuals together to fight against the extinction of seahorses.

Cavalos De Guerra – is a film based on the expeditions of the underwater photographer, marine biologist and environmentalist, João Rodrigues, in fight for the conservation and preservation of the sea horses of Ria Formosa.

Formerly considered the largest community in the world, today these animals are at risk of disappearing. Among the numerous threats, illegal capture to the Asian market has already decimated much of the population.

A film of unity, strength and hope that brings together scientists, politicians, environmental organizations, public and private entities, and the whole community with a common goal: to save one of Portugal’s most valuable treasures, the enigmatic horse of the seas.
