Tour of 3hours in Ria Formosa Natural Park with a stop for lunch in Santa Luzia, the Octopus capital.

The octopus is one of the most coveted molluscs in the Algarve. The number of ways to cook it is immense. On this tour, which starts in Cabanas and takes you to the Island of Tavira, you can learn more about the importance of this species for local populations, the ways of artisanal fishing and, of course, taste the various traditional local dishes. Octopus Rice (Portuguese style) , Octopus  “ à Lagareiro” (octopus with potatoes in the oven) , Grilled Octopus Eggs, or Octopus Salad (Portuguese style)  are some of the recipes you can try in Santa Luzia where we stop for lunch for about  1hour and half.

We head to the fabulous Terra Estreita beach (stop 30m) right after.
